LTD Deluxe basses are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks, and quality that working professional musicians require in an instrument, while remaining affordable enough for serious players. With its sculpted and contoured body, the F shape has long been a favorite of players of the heaviest music styles. The F-1004 and 5-string F-1005 are neck-thru-body designs at 35” scale — perfect for downtuning for the most brutal heavy riffs — with a five-piece maple / purple heart neck with satin finish for speedy playing, and a mahogany body with flamed maple top. Its Macassar ebony fingerboard includes 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets and abalone dot inlays. This bass has top-notch components like Grover tuners, a Hipshot A Style bridge, and innovative Fishman Fluence SB-1 active pickups with a single-coil mode, accessible via a push-pull volume control, as well as a balance control, 2-band EQ, and a 3-way mini switch for voice 1, voice 2 (mid cut), and voice 2 (mid flat).
